U13 Boys Fall Team Review

This group brought together a mix of new athletes, experienced ones and a couple new ones playing competitive ball for the first time. The Academy's 2nd team ever brought together an influx of new talent and great energy. Fighting the injury bug throughout the season, the team would be shorthanded as they participated in the 2018 Drive Fall Classic. They battled valiantly losing to the eventual champion on the first night by 3pts and finished the weekend with 2 wins and 2 losses overall. 

This group also began our Academy's initiative to make a difference in the community. A big shout out goes out to Ryan, Ben, Gurlagan and Pavan for volunteering at the Kelowna Gospel Mission and representing Shockers Basketball with their hard work, empathy and care. Thanks also goes out to Dennis Dekleva for organizing the partnership.
